2026
About Roazhon Run
The Roazhon Run is an annual running event held in late September in Rennes, hosted by the Stade Rennais Athlétisme club. Launched in 2016, the two-day event takes place at Roazhon Park, home of the Stade Rennais FC, and features eleven different challenges: a timed 10 km, a night run, a 15 km trail run, a women's duo relay, an FFA-certified Nordic walk, canicross, canihiking, a family run, a corporate challenge, a duo disability race, and a seniors' walk. All routes wind along the banks of the Vilaine river and the Apigné ponds, with every finish line located on the stadium pitch.
Roazhon Run — edition 2026
The 11th edition of the Roazhon Run takes place on Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th, 2026, at Roazhon Park in Rennes. Stade Rennais Athlétisme is hosting eleven events and expects over 7,000 participants: a timed 10 km, a night run, a 15 km trail run, a women's duo relay, Nordic walking, canicross, dog hiking, a family run, a corporate challenge, para-sports events, and a seniors' walk. All races finish inside the stadium, right by the pitch, on the Rose stand side.
Roazhon Run 2026
The eleventh edition will be held on September 26th and 27th, 2026, at Roazhon Park, the home of Stade Rennais FC. Stade Rennais Athlétisme has been organizing the event since 2016 and expects over 7,000 participants over the weekend, a significant increase from the 913 runners at the inaugural event.
What's new in 2026
The big addition is the Roazhon Féminine - MGEN, a duo relay exclusively for women: 10 km for the first runner, handing over the baton at the Apigné ponds, followed by 5 km for the second. The Roazhon Nocturne has been renamed Roazhon Nocturne - CIC, and the Seniors' Walk has moved from Sunday to Saturday.
The routes
The courses follow the banks of the Vilaine river, pass by Le MeM, reach the Apigné ponds, and return via La Prévalaye and the paths of La Taupinais. The canine events wind through La Taupinais and the gardens of La Prévalaye before skirting the Stade Rennais FC training center. All finishes take place inside the stadium.
Services and access
Secure bag drop provided in partnership with MAIF and MGEN; refreshments at the finish line include water served in reusable cups by Eau du Bassin Rennais, dried fruits, and pound cake. Free childcare for children aged 3-12 is provided by Zouzous Rennais micro-crèches (registration required), and paid catering is managed by Stade Rennais Football Club. Access via Metro line B (Cleunay station), buses 10, 11, 14, 54, 55, and 56, with 300 bike spaces near the stadium. Parking P5, near the Rose stand, is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
No motorized vehicles lead the races; the courses are opened and closed by cyclists. Traditional race bibs have been replaced by timing chips, which are collected at the finish line and refurbished for the following year.
