Escales Curieuses in Guipel
Escales Curieuses is an autumn cultural festival that takes place on an exceptional natural site along the Ille-et-Rance canal in La Plousière, Guipel in Ille-et-Vilaine.
Culture in a rural setting
Organized by the association Art Campo, the festival aims to promote culture in rural areas by offering quality performances (theater, dance, circus) and varied concerts mixing electronic rock, world music, reggae, jazz, and hip-hop.
Workshops for everyone
Escales Curieuses also offers participatory activities: games, screen printing, engraving, storytelling, and various creative workshops. These activities allow everyone to discover different artistic practices in a friendly atmosphere.
A free entry festival
Entry to the festival is free but voluntary, with festival-goers contributing according to their means to the festival's operation and artists' remuneration. This solidarity approach is at the heart of the Escales Curieuses philosophy.
