Saint-Brieuc rock and punk festival
Carnavalorock was born in 1990 in Saint-Brieuc, offering a stage for regional, national, and international rock and punk bands for seven consecutive editions (1990-1997). After a twenty-year hiatus, the festival was successfully revived in 2017, immediately regaining its loyal audience and attracting new festival-goers.
Every October, the Salle de Robien in Saint-Brieuc transforms into a rock temple for two evenings of concerts. The energy of punk, the power of rock, and the festive spirit of ska combine in an electric atmosphere, driven by an ambitious lineup and professional sound.
Carnavalorock brings together rock and punk legends and emerging bands on its stage. Among the artists who have marked recent editions: Ultra Vomit, Buzzcocks, The Undertones, Lofofora, The Limiñanas, Frustration, Sidilarsen, Burning Heads, Danakil, Les Garçons Bouchers, and Naive New Beaters.
The festival is organized in partnership with Diogène Productions, a major player in the Breton music scene. Each edition features two distinct evenings with complementary atmospheres, ranging from hardcore punk to alternative rock, including ska and post-punk.
Carnavalorock returns to the Salle de Robien in Saint-Brieuc in October 2026 for two new evenings of rock, punk, and alternative music. The lineup will be announced in the coming months.
