About Marine Worlds Film and Image Festival
The International Marine Worlds Film and Image Festival brings together films, photographs, and stories dedicated to the ocean in Trébeurden. Organized by the Embarqué à Trébeurden association in partnership with the town and Lannion Trégor Communauté, the event features underwater film and photography competitions, filmed lectures, performances, and concerts across four days dedicated to diving, science, and marine art.
Marine Worlds Film and Image Festival — edition 2026
The 11th edition takes place from October 15th to 18th, 2026, under the theme "Fous de Mer" (Sea Crazy), with biologist and photographer Laurent Ballesta as the patron. For the first time, the festival is launching a Handisub competition dedicated to inclusion, with the diving and photography jury chaired by Nicolas Barraqué, editor of Plongez magazine. A gala evening featuring singer Dan Ar Braz and the band Shine, performing a Pink Floyd tribute, will be held on Friday at the Salle du Sémaphore.

The festival also offers a parallel school program for children from kindergarten to 5th grade, as well as a free treasure hunt for 6-12 year olds in Pleumeur-Bodou and Trégastel, upon registration.
