Festival Klasik

Classical music at the heart of Brittany

The Festival Klasik is a musical event that unfolds every autumn across the towns of Kreiz Breizh (Central Brittany), in the Côtes-d'Armor. The concerts are mainly held in Rostrenen, Kergrist-Moëlou, Peumerit-Quintin, and Saint-Connan, in churches and halls offering remarkable acoustics.

A human-sized festival

Organized by the Kreiz Breizh School of Music, Dance, and Theatre, Klasik stands out for its intimate format and its desire to bring artists and audiences closer together. The festival hosts musicians from all backgrounds — young talents from the academy, international soloists, chamber ensembles, and orchestras — for concerts that celebrate both classical repertoire and contemporary creations.

Renowned artists

The festival invites prestigious artists every year. The Orchestre National de Bretagne is a regular partner of the festival, alongside international soloists such as violinist Anna Göckel or the group Fleurs Noires. The concerts offer varied programs, ranging from great classical symphonies to the most audacious contemporary creations.

Sharing and exchange

Klasik's mission is to foster sharing and exchange around repertoires from yesterday and today. The festival is aimed at all audiences — discerning music lovers, the curious, and novices — in a spirit of discovery and conviviality typical of Central Brittany.
