The rebellious festival of contemporary music in the Lorient region
Since 2006, Les Indisciplinées has established itself as one of the most unique festivals in Brittany. Organized by Hydrophone, a contemporary music venue and cultural facility of Lorient Agglomération, this autumn festival cultivates boldness, curiosity, and artistic openness.
Les Indisciplinées is not limited to contemporary music alone. The festival offers a multidisciplinary program that crosses genres and forms: concerts of rock, pop, electro, hip-hop, and experimental music, theater performances, film screenings, conferences, and meetings. This artistic transversality is the festival's trademark, refusing labels and boundaries between disciplines.
Each edition brings together established artists from the national and international scene with emerging talents and unique proposals. Over the years, the festival has hosted artists such as Feu! Chatterton, Robert Finley, Jessica93, and many others, always offering memorable musical encounters.
Les Indisciplinées unfolds in several cultural venues in the Lorient urban area: Hydrophone in Lorient, the Centre Culturel Les Arcs in Quéven, and other partner venues. This territorial presence allows the festival to reach a large and diverse audience, from informed amateurs to curious passers-by.
True to its name, Les Indisciplinées cultivates a rebellious, free, and festive spirit. The festival is a space of artistic freedom where the unexpected and surprise are paramount. Evenings extend late into the night, in a warm and electric atmosphere that has earned the event its reputation among loyal festival-goers.
The 21st edition of Les Indisciplinées takes place from November 4 to 14, 2026, in Lorient and the cultural venues of the agglomeration. This anniversary edition celebrates 20 years of the rebellious contemporary music festival, with a program mixing emblematic figures of the alternative scene and emerging talents: Girls in Hawaii, Lol Tolhurst (ex-The Cure), Syd Matters, Sébastien Tellier, and Marguerite.
