Festival Insolent: The essential contemporary music event in the Lorient region

Since its creation in 1994 in Quimper, Festival Insolent has traveled through Brittany before settling permanently at the Parc des Expositions de Lanester, on the outskirts of Lorient. This touring festival has made stops in Morlaix, Brest, Vannes, and Landerneau before finding its home port in the Lorient area.

Two collections per year

The originality of Festival Insolent lies in its format of two annual "collections": a spring edition and an autumn edition. Each collection offers a full lineup over an intense day, with concerts running on two stages at the Parc des Expositions. This format allows for regular renewal of the programming and fosters loyalty among an audience eager for musical discoveries.

Two stages for a total experience

The Grand Hall hosts the headliners and large-scale concerts, while the Petit Hall offers a more intimate program focused on discovery. This setup allows festival-goers to move between the two stages throughout the day.
