The 100% rap and urban cultures festival in Morlaix
The Pano Rap Festival is an event dedicated to rap and urban cultures held every autumn at the SEW in Morlaix. Created in 2024 by the Wart association, it is the little brother of the Panoramas Festival and continues 25 years of connection between Panoramas and rap. Over two days, it offers French-language rap concerts mixing headliners and emerging talents, complemented by open mics, DJ sets, screenings, and pop-up shops.
Born in 2024, the Pano Rap Festival is an event entirely dedicated to rap and urban cultures. Located at the SEW — La Manu, in the heart of the former Tobacco Factory on the port of Morlaix, this festival is the natural extension of the historic link between the Panoramas Festival and rap, a relationship of over 25 years.
While the Panoramas Festival has refocused on electro-techno aesthetics, the Wart association created the Pano Rap Festival to continue celebrating rap in a dedicated event. The festival builds on the experience of the Pano Rap Contest, a support and residency program for emerging rap projects in Brittany, which has been running for over three years.
The Pano Rap Festival explores the French-language rap scene with a selection of artists with diverse sounds, united by a common goal: to honor rap. Each edition mixes confirmed headliners and emerging talents, with particular attention paid to young local artists identified through the regional TREND program. After Zamdane and Meryl in 2024, the 2025 edition hosted Mairo, Stony Stone, Asinine, Angie, and local talents Sorhani and L'Attrapeur.
The Pano Rap Festival is not limited to concerts. The program includes open mics offered by Finistère Amer for creative minds, film screenings related to rap culture in partnership with the cinema La Salamandre, DJ sets, pop-up shops, tattoo stands, and literary discussions with journalists and music critics, creating a complete immersion in the world of hip-hop.
The SEW — La Manu, located in the former Tobacco Factory on the port of Morlaix, offers a unique industrial and heritage setting to host the festival. This new cultural venue in the city by the viaduct has become a reference space for contemporary music in the north of Finistère.
The 3rd edition of the Pano Rap Festival is expected in November 2026 at the SEW in Morlaix. The lineup will be announced in autumn 2026.
