Les Salles Mômes

A festival dedicated to childhood and imagination

For over twenty years, the festival Les Salles Mômes has been enchanting families in the Pays de Lorient by offering an artistic program designed for both toddlers and older children. Led by TRIO...S, the intercommunal artistic season of Inzinzac-Lochrist and Hennebont, the festival takes over several emblematic venues: the Théâtre du Blavet, the Centre socioculturel Jean Ferrat, the cinema Le Vulcain, and other cultural spaces in the area.

A multidisciplinary program

Each edition offers an eclectic panorama of live performance for young audiences. Contemporary circus, puppet and object theater, musical shows, visual arts, and interactive installations come together to amaze young and old alike. Carefully selected animated film screenings complement this artistic offering. Immersive exhibitions and participatory workshops allow children to discover visual arts, creation, and body expression.

Strong territorial roots

The festival radiates throughout the Pays de Lorient, with performances scheduled in Inzinzac-Lochrist, Hennebont, Guidel, Lorient, and Pont-Scorff. This traveling dimension promotes access to culture for all audiences, including in rural areas. TRIO...S, as a territorial hub dedicated to circus arts, puppet theater, and street arts, anchors Les Salles Mômes in an ambitious artistic project of mediation and cultural discovery for children.
