About Erquy en bulles
Every autumn, Erquy en Bulles brings together comic book enthusiasts at the Thalassa gymnasium in Erquy, located on the coast of Côtes-d'Armor. The festival was born from a local theory championed by Jean-Pierre Allain, a fan of both comics and vintage cars, who saw the town as a source of inspiration for the village of Asterix. The Erquy en Bulles association, created to promote comics and children's literature, has been organizing the event since 2020, featuring book signings and meetings with Breton authors.
Erquy en bulles — edition 2026
The seventh edition of Erquy en bulles will take place on October 17th and 18th, 2026, at the Thalassa gymnasium. The festival continues its original mission: to showcase Breton comic book authors and introduce their work to a family-friendly audience.
