About Robien Libre

Every mid-September, Robien Libre brings the Robien eco-district in Saint-Brieuc to life. Organized by the local neighborhood committee (CAR) for several years now, the 2026 edition marks its tenth anniversary. For one weekend, the streets, courtyards, and gardens of the neighborhood are transformed into impromptu stages.

Robien Libre — edition 2026

Robien Libre returns from September 11th to 13th, 2026, for its tenth edition, taking over every corner of the Robien district. This three-day event, organized by the local neighborhood committee, features street performances, street art murals, music quizzes, world music, and stargazing sessions.

The 2026 program has not yet been released by the organizers; it will be added as soon as it becomes available.

Past editions have featured a mix of live mural painting and graffiti, beatbox workshops, and concerts held in residents' private gardens—ranging from rock cabaret and Indian music to Brazilian choro. The event typically concludes with a free closing night at the Cour Carnot, showcasing musicians from diverse backgrounds, including piano, Cuban double bass, and Senegalese griot performances. Some years, the program also includes a traditional palets tournament and events dedicated to the neighborhood's industrial heritage.
