A new festival by the Bay
Born in July 2025, Baie Sonore is the new contemporary music festival in Cayeux-sur-Mer, an authentic seaside resort in the Baie de Somme known for its famous beach huts and its long pebble-lined promenade. Driven by the association La Baie Sonore, this festival was created with the ambition of offering a festive and unifying moment in a town that lacked a major musical event.
Emerging artists and local talents
Baie Sonore's programming highlights emerging artists and talents from the Hauts-de-France region, fostering a spirit of discovery and proximity. The festival blends musical genres — pop, rock, electro, French chanson — to offer a diverse and accessible sound palette for all audiences. The first edition in 2025 notably featured DJ Wallace, Richard Allen, Sirène, Jeanne Bonjour, Victorien, The Odds, Mac&Wester, and Ultranöuk.
More than just a music festival
Baie Sonore is not just about concerts. The festival includes a creators' market showcasing artisans and designers from the region, as well as educational workshops on the environment, echoing the exceptional natural richness of the Baie de Somme, a Grand Site de France. This eco-responsible dimension is at the heart of the association's project, with a focus on waste management, short supply chains, and public awareness.
Cayeux-sur-Mer, land of festivals
With Baie Sonore, Cayeux-sur-Mer enriches its summer cultural offerings alongside the Rencontres Musicales autour du Piano. The town, renowned for its colorful beach huts, its boardwalk (the longest in Europe), and its proximity to the Hâble d'Ault nature reserve, offers an ideal natural setting for an outdoor festival. The festival site, a field at the entrance of the town, allows festival-goers to enjoy the fresh sea air while discovering new artists.
