About Poulpaphone
The Poulpaphone Festival is a contemporary music event held every September in Boulogne-sur-Mer since 2005. Established by the Communauté d'agglomération du Boulonnais, it features a mix of rock, electro, rap, pop, metal, and chanson across two stages, showcasing both headliners and up-and-coming artists. The festival takes place at L'Embarcadère, the convention and performance center built on the Éperon site, right by the harbor.

The Poulpaphone Festival returns to L'Embarcadère in Boulogne-sur-Mer on Friday, September 25th and Saturday, September 26th, 2026. Enjoy twelve concerts across two stages, Le Satellite and L'Embarcadère: featuring hip-hop and electro on Friday with Zamdane, Danyl, and Romane Santarelli, and electro-rock on Saturday with Vladimir Cauchemar, Zélie, and Zentone. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the event concludes at 1:30 AM.
Poulpaphone 2026: Two nights at L'Embarcadère
The Poulpaphone Festival takes place on Friday, September 25th and Saturday, September 26th, 2026, at L'Embarcadère in Boulogne-sur-Mer, located at the Éperon site. Twelve artists will perform across two stages, Le Satellite and L'Embarcadère, with a festival village offering food and entertainment on-site.
Friday hip-hop and electro, Saturday electro-rock
Friday's lineup includes Zamdane, Danyl, Romane Santarelli, Nous étions une armée, Marta, and Jeannette & MAJ. Saturday shifts to electro-rock with Vladimir Cauchemar, Zélie, Zentone, Nord Noir, Treaks, and Spunyboys.
Schedule
Doors open at 7:00 PM both nights. The first concert starts at 8:00 PM on Le Satellite and 9:00 PM on L'Embarcadère, with the final set ending at 1:00 AM. The on-site box office closes at 11:30 PM and the bars at 12:45 AM.

The six concerts listed for each evening are the only scheduled performances announced by the organizers. Details regarding village activities have not been released.
Prices Poulpaphone 2026
On-site: €28 per night, excluding booking fees. 2-day passes are not sold on-site.
Under 25s: €18 per night, excluding booking fees, via Pass Culture or at the L'Embarcadère box office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Tickets are also available on the Pass Culture app for those aged 15-21.

Getting to Poulpaphone
The festival is held at the Éperon site, 9 quai Thurot, 62200 Boulogne-sur-Mer.
On foot
From Place Dalton, the main square in Boulogne-sur-Mer, it is about a 10-minute walk toward the harbor.
By bus
The "Station Liane" bus terminal is a 10-minute walk away, and there is a stop serving L'Embarcadère. Check the Marinéo network website for schedules.
By car
From the north of Boulogne-sur-Mer, take exit 32 off the A16 toward Nausicaa. From the south, take exit 29 toward Boulogne-Port and the marina. Nearby parking: L'Embarcadère forecourt, Université du Littoral, Capécure hub (258 spaces), quai Gambetta, and Q-Park quai de la Poste.

Poulpaphone: Contemporary Music in Boulogne-sur-Mer
Poulpaphone was launched in 2005 by the Communauté d'agglomération du Boulonnais, which sought to create a musical event tailored to younger audiences. It has since become a staple of the contemporary music scene in the Boulonnais region and the Côte d'Opale, renowned for a lineup that blends rock, electro, rap, pop, metal, and chanson.
Headliners and New Discoveries
Each year, the program pairs established names with emerging talent. Artists such as Bagarre, Kompromat, The Inspector Cluzo, Naza, and Camp Claude have all graced the festival's stages.
L'Embarcadère, at the Éperon site
After starting as a traveling event, the festival moved to the Garromanche industrial zone in 2010, and since 2024, it has been hosted at L'Embarcadère. This performance and convention center, built on the historic Éperon site by the harbor, houses the festival's two stages—Le Satellite and L'Embarcadère—as well as the activity village.
The Poulpa + Initiative
The festival also runs a support program for local musicians from the Boulonnais area called Poulpa +. Funded by the Communauté d'agglomération du Boulonnais and the Hauts-de-France regional council, it offers supervised rehearsals, training workshops, masterclasses with festival artists, rehearsal studios, and a mentorship program that supports one artist for a full year. Sorann, from Condette, is the 2026 mentee.
