Black Bombers Gathering

The biker spirit in the heart of Auvergne

The Black Bombers Gathering is organized by the Black Bombers MCP association, a motorcycle club from Bort-l'Étang whose goal is to promote friendly motorcycle riding and participate in local life. Sharing a common passion for rock'n'roll, American culture, and motorcycles, the association members organize this festive gathering every summer, attracting bikers and families from all over the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

A weekend of festivities

The gathering takes place over two days at the multi-purpose hall of Bort-l'Étang. On Friday evening, the festivities kick off with a rockabilly concert that sets the tone for the event. Saturday is dedicated to a free motorcycle ride through the landscapes of Livradois-Forez, followed by a day of activities: motorcycle shows, mechanical bull riding, freestyle trial show, and stands with American biker-themed food trucks.

Concerts and shows

The musical program is at the heart of the gathering with several live concerts throughout the weekend. The musical genres featured range from rockabilly to rock, including tribute bands honoring rock legends. Saturday evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display. The freestyle trial show by professional riders adds an acrobatic dimension to the event.

An event open to all

Although born from a passion for motorcycles, the Black Bombers Gathering is open to everyone, bikers and non-bikers, families, and the curious. The all-inclusive package includes the motorcycle ride, a meal (roast pork, potatoes, cheese, and dessert), site access, and a small souvenir gift. The friendly and festive atmosphere makes it a unifying event for local life in Bort-l'Étang.
