Every year, the town of Brunoy celebrates the National Day at the Maison des Arts park, right by the Yerres river. Located in the Essonne department and crossed by the Yerres river, Brunoy takes full advantage of its preserved natural environment to offer its residents a friendly, family-oriented July 14th celebration.

July 14th, 2026 fireworks display rescheduled for Saturday, September 19th

ℹ️ The fireworks display originally scheduled for July 14th, 2026, has been moved to Saturday, September 19th, 2026. A prefectural decree issued on July 7th, 2026, banned all fireworks in the Essonne department from July 7th to July 15th inclusive, due to an exceptional fire risk as the region was placed on high alert for forest fires during a heatwave. The City of Brunoy has therefore rescheduled its fireworks, usually launched from the Maison des Arts park, to Saturday, September 19th, 2026.

On July 14th, 2026, the City of Brunoy hosted musical entertainment at La Parenthèse from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The full, updated program is available at brunoy.fr.

Brunoy, between the Yerres and the Sénart forest

Brunoy is a town of over 26,000 inhabitants, situated between the Yerres river and the Sénart forest, about twenty kilometers from Paris. The town is easily accessible via the RER D line, which connects Brunoy to the Gare de Lyon in less than 30 minutes. It boasts a rich heritage, including the 17th-century Hôtel de Brunoy, the scenic banks of the Yerres perfect for walks, and the Maison des Arts, a cultural hub that hosts exhibitions, performances, and events throughout the year.
