About Chalouz Fest'

Born from the passion of eight friends from Mulhouse for music and events, Chalouz Fest' is an open-air music festival that has established itself in the Sundgau festival scene. Located at the Hirsingue sports complex (COSEC), it offers two days of eclectic concerts at the end of June each year, mixing local Alsatian artists and emerging talents in a friendly and eco-responsible atmosphere. On-site camping, food trucks, and a carefully curated program make this young festival a unique musical experience in the heart of the Haut-Rhin.

Eight friends, one festival

Chalouz Fest' is the result of the shared passion of eight friends from Mulhouse and its surroundings for music and event organization. Their long-standing friendship and complementary skills converged on an ambitious project: to create the festival for their region, a friendly, accessible musical event rooted in the Sundgau territory. Driven by the Chalouz Festival association, this collective adventure embodies the spirit of "doing things together" and promoting local talent.

The Hirsingue COSEC: an open-air setting

The festival takes place at the Hirsingue sports complex (COSEC), at 24 rue de l'Ill. This open-air space provides an ideal setting for the stages, food trucks offering diverse cuisine, and the campsite open to all festival-goers with their equipment. The site transforms for a weekend into a true festival village where music resonates from Friday evening until late Saturday night.

An eclectic and local program

Chalouz Fest's program highlights local Alsatian artists while also featuring talents from elsewhere. The 2024 edition notably hosted Leo Blomov, Jeune Austin, Pils n love, Moko, Le Raph, Staary, Helen Frey, and Pepperoni. Musical genres cross borders: house, rap, punk, UK garage, world music, and electro coexist in a festive and relaxed atmosphere. The organizers carefully select artists capable of making the audience dance and feel the music.

An eco-responsible and committed festival

Chalouz Fest' is committed to an eco-responsible approach. The organizers prioritize local products for catering, encourage waste sorting, and raise festival-goers' awareness about environmental respect. The festival also supports the local economy by actively seeking partnerships with regional businesses. Volunteers contribute to the organization, reinforcing the event's community roots.

Camping atmosphere and conviviality

The campsite is one of Chalouz Fest's major assets. Open to all ticket holders, it allows the festival experience to extend from Friday afternoon to Sunday. For a symbolic euro, festival-goers can pitch their tents in the immediate vicinity of the stages and enjoy a weekend of total musical immersion. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, reflecting a human-sized festival that fosters closeness between artists and the audience.
