Festive Wine Tourism in the Côte des Bar
The Champagne Party was born from the desire of Bar-sur-Aube winemakers to showcase their expertise and terroirs in a festive and friendly way. Organized by the association "Du côté de Bar-sur-Aube Caves & Vignobles de Champagne", this wine tourism event brings together about ten champagne houses that simultaneously open their doors for two days. Each house offers its own program of activities, allowing visitors to create a personalized itinerary according to their desires and discoveries.
Activities for All Tastes
The richness of the Champagne Party lies in the diversity of its activities, which extend far beyond simple tasting. Visitors can immerse themselves in the winemaker's profession through cellar tours, disgorging on the fly, guided tastings, and guided walks in the vineyards. For thrill-seekers, buggy excursions, 4x4 rides, and carriage rides offer total immersion in the rolling landscapes of the Côte des Bar. Families are not forgotten, with escape games, outdoor games, treasure hunts, and farmers' markets.
Festive Evenings in the Heart of the Vineyards
The Champagne Party evenings are special moments, blending champagne bubbles and live music. Participating houses organize 'bubbly' evenings and concerts, pizza parties, and winemaker dinners in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. These nocturnal gatherings allow visitors to extend the wine tourism experience in an intimate setting, close to the winemakers and their passion. It's an opportunity to discover the cuvées in a festive atmosphere and forge privileged connections with the producers.
An Exceptional Territory to Discover
The Champagne Party is an ideal gateway to discover the Côte des Bar, a southern wine-growing region of Champagne that is still relatively unknown. The green hills, slopes planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, picturesque villages, and the medieval heritage of Bar-sur-Aube create an enchanting setting. The event fully contributes to the development of wine tourism in the Aube department, which emphasizes slow tourism and the authentic discovery of its terroirs. The Champagne Party is part of a dynamic to promote Aube champagne, which also includes other major events such as the Route du Champagne en Fête.
