Cidre & Dragon
Medieval fantasy festival in Merville-Franceville-Plage
2026
About Cidre & Dragon
For one weekend, Merville-Franceville-Plage transforms into "Merravilla," a fantasy city where elves, goblins, centaurs, and other creatures from medieval-fantasy lore roam the streets. The Cidre & Dragon festival features a medieval and craft market, street performances, cosplay competitions, and introductory sessions for board games and live-action role-playing, all organized by the Raid Tolkien association in partnership with the town. Admission is free, and the event is designed to be welcoming for all ages.
Cidre & Dragon — edition 2026
The 2026 edition takes place on September 19th and 20th, themed around the element of air. The medieval market, street performers, and cosplay competitions will return to the town center, alongside opportunities to try out board games and live-action role-playing, as well as concerts and talks.
Programme Cidre & Dragon 2026
The detailed program for the 2026 edition has not yet been released by the organizers; it will be added as soon as it becomes available.
