The Clamecy Jazz-Blues Festival is a season of jazz and blues concerts organized by the association Jazz et Blues à Clamecy, in the Haut-Nivernais. From autumn to spring, the association offers a series of concerts at the MLAC and cultural venues in Clamecy, featuring national and international artists. Jazz and blues masterclasses, jam sessions, and music workshops complete this program, making Clamecy a recognized jazz hub in Burgundy.
The association Jazz et Blues à Clamecy enlivens the musical life of this medieval town in the Haut-Nivernais by offering a full season of jazz and blues concerts. Regular jam sessions, from March to May, allow amateur and professional musicians to meet for moments of improvisation and musical sharing.
Clamecy, former capital of wood rafting, is a city of art and history in the north of the Nièvre department. Its medieval architectural heritage, bookstores, and art galleries make it a vibrant cultural center where jazz and blues find fertile ground.
