About Classiquicime

Classiquicime is an international classical music festival held annually in Megève in March, in partnership with Diapason magazine. Created in 2025, this musical event brings together over 200 international artists for four days of about ten concerts in three different venues in the resort. The festival offers an ambitious program combining symphonic concerts, intimate recitals, and high-altitude musical performances, bringing classical music beyond traditional concert halls, into the heart of the Alps and at the foot of the ski slopes.

Classiquicime: Classical Music Reaches New Heights in Megève

Classiquicime was born in 2025 from a unique partnership between the resort of Megève and Diapason magazine, a French reference for classical music. The ambition is clear: to create an international-level classical music festival in one of the most beautiful mountain villages in the Alps, taking advantage of the exceptional setting of the resort and its leading cultural and tourist offerings.

From its very first edition, the festival made a strong impact by bringing together over 200 artists for about ten concerts spread across three venues in the resort. The program, designed with Diapason's editorial rigor, offers a balance between major works of the classical and romantic repertoire and musical discoveries, in various formats: symphonic concerts, piano recitals, chamber music, and innovative performances.

Concerts Between Venues and Summits

The originality of Classiquicime lies in its desire to take classical music out of traditional venues. While the main concerts take place in the halls and churches of Megève, the festival innovates with open-air concerts and high-altitude performances, offering spectators a unique musical experience against the backdrop of the Alps. This "outside the walls" dimension echoes the philosophy of the resort, which for a century has cultivated the art of mountain living.

Event Evenings

The festival also distinguishes itself with its themed evenings that reinvent the classical concert. The Vivaldi Night, combining violin and dance around The Four Seasons, and the Piano Night, dedicated to Chopin, Liszt, and Debussy, illustrate this desire to make classical music lively, accessible, and spectacular. The Rave'L Party, a nod to the composer Maurice Ravel, offers a hybrid experience between classical and electronic music.

A Festival Rooted in Megève's Cultural Tradition

Megève, a legendary resort founded by the Baroness de Rothschild in the 1920s, has always been a place of culture and elegance. Classiquicime is part of this tradition by offering an event that combines musical excellence and the art of mountain living. The festival benefits from the support of the municipality, the tourist office, and the economic actors of the resort, confirming Megève's cultural vocation in the heart of the Alps.
