Born from the alliance between Delta Festival, a major player in the French electronic scene, and the Val Thorens resort, the Cosmic Mountain Festival was launched in April 2025 with a clear ambition: to create the highest electronic music festival in Europe. At an altitude of 2,300 meters, in the heart of the 3 Vallées, the concept is unique: transform a ski resort into a gigantic cosmic playground where music resonates among the Alpine peaks.

From its very first edition, the festival has stood out for its scale and the quality of its programming, attracting thousands of festival-goers from all over Europe to experience an extraordinary musical and sporting event.

Five Venues, Five Cosmic Universes

The Cosmic Mountain Festival is distinguished by its multi-venue concept. Five emblematic locations in Val Thorens are taken over and transformed into distinct universes, each with its own cosmic sound and aesthetic identity. From high-altitude bars to concert halls, including outdoor spaces facing the peaks, each venue offers a unique atmosphere that contributes to the total immersion of festival-goers.

The party runs from 3 PM to 4 AM, offering a natural transition between the last runs on the slopes and the wild evenings. This extended format allows festival-goers to move between the different universes according to their desires, creating a personalized musical journey in the heart of the resort.

International Headliners

For its second edition in April 2026, the Cosmic Mountain Festival is making a strong impact with an international caliber lineup. Benny Benassi, an Italian electro house legend known worldwide for "Satisfaction," headlines Saturday. Bakermat, a Dutch DJ and producer, a pioneer of tropical house, will entertain on Sunday. Anetha, a rising star of French techno with a dark and captivating style, closes the festival on Monday.

Skiing and Music: The Perfect Combo

The Cosmic Mountain Festival takes full advantage of its exceptional Alpine setting. In April, Val Thorens still benefits from generous snowfall and ideal spring sunshine. Festival-goers can enjoy 150 km of slopes during the day before diving into the festival's musical universe in the late afternoon.
