About Crossroads
Created in 2016 in Roubaix, Crossroads Festival is the first professional showcase in the Hauts-de-France region. Organized by La BIC at La Condition Publique, it offers three days of concerts and professional meetings dedicated to musical discoveries. One third of the artists come from Hauts-de-France, the others from neighboring regions and countries. An essential springboard for emerging talents.

Crossroads Festival: The engine of musical discoveries
The Crossroads Festival was born in 2016 in Roubaix, driven by La BIC (Boîte d'Intervention Culturelle), an association dedicated to supporting and promoting emerging artists. In just a few editions, it has established itself as the leading professional showcase festival in the Hauts-de-France region.
A unique showcase concept
The principle of Crossroads is simple: for three days, about twenty musical groups perform in short sets for an audience composed of both curious spectators and music industry professionals (programmers, labels, promoters, media). This format allows artists to be discovered and to secure concert dates, contracts, or collaborations.
Regional and cross-border roots
Approximately one third of the artists programmed come from Hauts-de-France, with the others from neighboring regions and border countries: Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands. This cross-border dimension reflects Roubaix's strategic geographical position, at the crossroads of Northwestern Europe.
La Condition Publique: an iconic venue
The festival takes place at La Condition Publique, a former textile conditioning warehouse converted into a cultural venue. This 7,000 m² space, located in the heart of Roubaix, offers an industrial yet warm setting ideal for concerts and professional meetings.
Beyond the showcase
Crossroads Festival also offers conferences, round tables, and networking sessions on the challenges facing the music industry: artist development, export, innovation, and digital transitions.
A European musical crossroads
The cross-border dimension of the Crossroads Festival reflects Roubaix's strategic position at the crossroads of Northwestern Europe. Belgian, Luxembourgish, and Dutch artists mingle with French bands, creating a unique space for cultural exchange and encounters. This international openness has enabled many artists from Hauts-de-France to access European distribution networks.
La Condition Publique: an industrial gem
The former textile conditioning warehouse, converted into a 7,000 m² cultural venue, offers an industrial and welcoming atmosphere that is perfectly suited for musical showcases. The various spaces allow for multiple stages to be programmed simultaneously, giving professionals and the public the opportunity to discover a maximum number of artists in a minimum amount of time.
