An artistic laboratory in the heart of Ardèche

Created in 2015 by La Cie des Chimères, the Dare d'Art festival is a multidisciplinary event that transforms the village of Saint-Pierreville into a true artistic laboratory for three days each June. The festival aims to be a space for meeting, experimentation, and discovery where the boundaries between disciplines blur in favor of creation and emotion.

A hybrid and generous program

For its three days of celebration, La Cie des Chimères offers an unconventional laboratory of artistic projects and expressions:

Facilitating access to culture in rural areas

One of Dare d'Art's fundamental objectives is to facilitate access to culture in rural areas. Saint-Pierreville, a mountain village nestled in the Eyrieux valley, is far from major cultural institutions. The festival fills this gap by offering professional-quality programming directly in the heart of the village, allowing residents and visitors to meet circus performers, musicians, actors, dancers, and singers in a unique, close-knit setting.

La Cie des Chimères, the driving force behind the festival

La Compagnie des Chimères is a performing arts company based in Ardèche, interested in social issues and taboo subjects. The company produces hybrid creations (theater, circus, etc.) addressing strong societal issues. With Dare d'Art, it carries an ambitious cultural project that goes beyond a simple festival to become a true tool for social connection and territorial development in rural areas.
