A New Metal Festival in the Aube Region

Destroy Fest was born in December 2024 from the desire of the MLK Production association to create an event dedicated to metal and punk music in Troyes. Organized at the Chapelle Argence, a concert venue located at 20 bis boulevard Gambetta, extending from Espace Argence, this festival immediately found its audience among extreme music enthusiasts in the Aube and neighboring departments. The Chapelle Argence, with its remarkable acoustics and intimate capacity, offers an ideal setting to experience the intensity of metal and punk up close with the artists.

Raw Metal to the Aube Scene

The Destroy Fest lineup showcases the diverse facets of metal: from thrash to stoner, from punk hardcore to alternative rock, including melodic metal and groove metal. The festival has hosted renowned bands from the French and European scene such as Akiavel, a rapidly growing thrash metal band from Lyon, Headcharger, a pillar of French metal for two decades, Dätcha Mandala, a stoner blues rock trio from Bordeaux, and Bukowski, a benchmark in French punk rock. Local and emerging bands like Faith In Agony, Guns For Illusion, Barth Sky, and Locomuerte complete the lineups.

Two Days of Musical Intensity

Destroy Fest unfolds over two days, offering a dense and varied program. Each evening features four to five bands performing on the Chapelle Argence stage, creating a progressive build-up to the headliners. The atmosphere is both energetic and fraternal, characteristic of metal events where the audience shares a common passion for heavy music. On-site catering allows festival-goers to refuel between concerts.

MLK Production, Driving the Troyes Metal Scene

The MLK Production association, behind Destroy Fest, continues the tradition of concert associations that keep the metal scene alive in the provinces. By creating this festival in Troyes, MLK Production fills a gap in the cultural offerings for extreme music lovers in the Aube region, helping to energize the local scene and attract national and international bands to the city.
