About Festilivres Monéteau
Festilivres is the book and comic fair of Monéteau (89470), organized every last Sunday of October by the ANICOM association at the Espace Skenet'eau. Since 1992, this free event has welcomed around forty authors and publishers for signings, alongside a vast fair of new, used, and old books, comics, and postcards. With 2,000 m² of halls and 200 meters of outdoor stands, Festilivres is one of the largest literary events in the Yonne.

Festilivres, the meeting place for book lovers in Monéteau
Every last Sunday of October, the town of Monéteau (89470) transforms into the book capital of the Yonne. The Festilivres fair, organized since 1992 by the ANICOM association, brings together two complementary events in one: an authors' fair for signings and meetings with creators, and a huge book fair for lovers of all kinds of works.
A generous authors' fair
In the halls of the Espace Skenet'eau, around forty authors and publishers set up to welcome the public and sign their works. Novels, comics, children's books, essays, poetry, local history: the diversity of genres represented reflects the vitality of literary and graphic creation. Visitors can meet authors directly, discuss their work, and leave with signed books.
The 33rd Festilivres – October 26, 2025
The 2025 edition, the 33rd, was held on October 26, 2025 at the Espace Skenet'eau and in the adjacent municipal gymnasiums. Special guests included Bénédicte Pinard, a restorer of old books, and Corinne Moriano, an art bookbinder. Students from ANICOM's drawing and painting class also exhibited their work during this day.
An exceptional book fair
The book fair takes place in the municipal gymnasiums adjacent to Skenet'eau, offering a space of 2,000 m² of halls plus 200 meters of outdoor stands, amounting to over a kilometer of exhibition space. Around 120 exhibitors from all over France offer old books, used books, new books, comics, old postcards, and bindings. Visitors can have their old books appraised for free by specialists.

ANICOM, Monéteau's cultural engine
ANICOM is the cultural association that has been animating the artistic life of Monéteau for many years. It offers drawing, painting, cooking, computer, and other classes throughout the year. Festilivres is its flagship event, entirely organized by passionate volunteers in a spirit of cultural sharing and free access for visitors.

The 34th Festilivres in Monéteau will be held on October 25, 2026, at the Espace Skenet'eau. Authors' fair, old and new book fair, comics, postcards, and literary activities are on the program. Free admission, open access throughout the day.

The ANICOM association is organizing the 34th Festilivres on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Espace Skenet'eau in Monéteau. This annual event, a must for book and comic lovers in the Yonne region, will once again bring together authors, publishers, and booksellers for a full day of literature and comics.
The authors' fair will host around forty artists for signings and meetings, while the book fair will offer its 120 exhibitors and their thousands of works of all kinds to bargain hunters. The guests of honor and the detailed program will be announced in the fall of 2026. Free admission, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
