From Saint-Guirec to Saint Patrick
The Mois Celtique in Perros-Guirec is a month-long cultural festival held annually from February 17th to March 17th, establishing a symbolic link between two major figures in Celtic history: Saint Guirec, the patron saint of Perros-Guirec, whose statue adorns the famous pink granite beach, and Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, celebrated worldwide on March 17th.
Over thirty activities
The Mois Celtique program includes over thirty activities spread throughout the month: concerts of Breton and Celtic music, theater and dance shows, conferences on Celtic legends and culture, exhibitions of photography and traditional Trégor costumes, creative workshops for embroidery and Celtic crafts, fest-noz, Irish dances, Breton bowling tournaments, and broadcasts of rugby matches from the Six Nations Tournament.
Renowned artists
Le Mois Celtique hosts major artists from the Breton and Celtic music scene. In 2025 and 2026, the lineup featured Dan Ar Braz, an iconic guitarist of Breton Celtic music, Marion Le Solliec, a virtuoso harpist, and Denez Prigent, an internationally recognized singer in the Breton language. Irish dance shows like “Letters to Erin” and theater performances complete the program.
A festival for all ages
Le Mois Celtique is designed for all audiences, with activities specifically for children and families: creative workshops, Celtic storytelling, dance initiations, and screenings. The conferences on Celtic legends, the Breton language, and the Trégor heritage are aimed at adult audiences eager to discover or deepen their knowledge of Celtic culture.
