Open-air popular music festival in Tournon-sur-Rhône
Fest'Route is a popular music festival that takes place every year in June in Tournon-sur-Rhône, a historic town in northern Ardèche. Located on the Quai Farconnet, in the heart of the town and by the Rhône, the festival offers an exceptional setting for open-air concert evenings, facing the river and the Hermitage vineyards.
Fest'Route's programming is distinguished by its musical eclecticism. The festival mixes international, national, and local artists, in various genres: rock, French chanson, world music, reggae, funk, ska, and many other genres. This diversity has been the festival's hallmark since its creation, with the aim of offering musical discoveries as well as recognized headliners.
Created in 1999, Fest'Route is one of the oldest festivals in the Ardèche-Hermitage region. Over its editions, including the 11th in 2009, the festival has gradually established itself as a must-attend event of the Ardèche summer season. Organized by a team of passionate volunteers, Fest'Route has always maintained a friendly and accessible spirit, true to its associative origins.
Tournon-sur-Rhône is a town rich in history and heritage, with its medieval castle, its Saint-Julien collegiate church, and its quays facing Tain-l'Hermitage. The festival takes advantage of this remarkable setting to offer musical evenings in a unique atmosphere, between old stones and Rhône reflections. The proximity of the Hermitage and Saint-Joseph vineyards adds an oenological dimension to the festival-goers' experience.
The festival takes place on the Quai Farconnet, 07300 Tournon-sur-Rhône.
