Festi'Mioches is the unmissable event for live performance for young audiences in Le Mans. Organized every year during the winter holidays by MJC Ronceray – L'Alambik in partnership with the companies Les Gamettes and Tétrofort, this three-day festival offers about ten performances by regional companies, for everyone from toddlers to older children, from 6 months to 77 years old. Theater, puppets, dance, storytelling, musical shows, and film screenings make up an eclectic and demanding program, in a warm and festive atmosphere designed for families.

Festi'Mioches: Live performance at a child's level
Festi'Mioches was born from the desire of the MJC Ronceray – L'Alambik, a popular education center rooted in Le Mans, to offer a highlight of live performance dedicated to young audiences during the winter holidays. Supported in partnership with the companies Les Gamettes and Tétrofort, the festival has established itself over the years as a faithfully followed event by families from Le Mans and the Sarthe region.
A program for all ages
The strength of Festi'Mioches lies in the diversity of its programming, designed to reach all audiences, from infants to grandparents:
- Sensory shows for toddlers (from 6 months): immersive experiences around sound, movement, and light
- Theater and storytelling for 3-6 year olds: adaptations of traditional tales, original creations full of humor and poetry
- Family shows from 5-6 years old: theater, dance, puppets, musical shows addressing universal themes
- All-ages evenings: festive and quirky performances open to adults
Regional companies in the spotlight
Festi'Mioches highlights the dynamism of creation for young audiences in the Pays de la Loire region and beyond. Each edition hosts eight to ten companies offering varied artistic forms — object theater, puppets, contemporary dance, circus, musical shows — providing young spectators with a first experience of live performance in a welcoming and adapted setting.
L'Alambik: a venue dedicated to families
L'Alambik, the performance hall of MJC Ronceray, is a human-sized space perfectly suited for welcoming young audiences. The friendly atmosphere of the festival is enhanced by the Bar à Mioches, a catering and meeting space run by MJC volunteers, where families extend the pleasure of the show over a snack or a hot drink.
My First Screening
In partnership with the cinema Le Royal and the association Graines d'Images, Festi'Mioches offers animated film screenings followed by creative workshops, introducing the youngest to the art of cinema in a fun and educational setting.
