Festi'Grim: Living Art in the Village

Created in 2023 by the Compagnie Grim, Festi'Grim is a human-sized festival that transforms the hamlet of Confrançon, in Cortevaix, into a true living arts village. In the heart of Clunisois, nestled among green hills and vineyards, this summer event offers two days of shows, workshops, and encounters in an intimate and warm atmosphere.

Circus, Storytelling, and Music: Three Artistic Pillars

The Festi'Grim program is built around three founding disciplines: circus, storytelling, and music. Professional shows are presented in four distinct spaces—under the yurt, outdoors, and in various nooks of the hamlet—creating an immersive experience where the audience can move freely from one universe to another. Trapeze, juggling, and acrobatics mingle with spoken word and acoustic sounds in a unique artistic dialogue.

A Festival for All Generations

Festi'Grim places a central focus on young audiences and families. A variety of artistic workshops—circus, face painting, weaving, DJ scratching—are offered to children and teenagers throughout the day. The shows are designed to be accessible to all ages, from toddlers to adults. Giant wooden games, a reading corner, and a sandbox complement the offerings for the youngest, making the festival a true playground for discovery.

Compagnie Grim: The Soul of the Festival

Based in Cortevaix, in the heart of Clunisois, Compagnie Grim blends circus, theater, storytelling, and music to create spaces for connection and tell stories, sometimes wordlessly, exploring intimacy and fragility. Supported by about thirty volunteers and the local associative fabric, the company makes Festi'Grim a moment of artistic sharing rooted in its territory, championing the circus and spoken word arts in a rural and poetic setting.
