Festimof: twenty years of free music in Moffans

The story of Festimof began in 2007, when members of the Youth Council of the village of Moffans-et-Vacheresse, a small town in Haute-Saône nestled near Lure, decided to create a musical event to liven up their community. With barely 350 spectators at the first edition, no one imagined then that this local initiative would become one of the unmissable summer events in Haute-Saône.

A festival by and for enthusiasts

Festimof's philosophy is based on two fundamental pillars: total gratuity and volunteering. Each year, a dozen regional bands are selected from the applications received and perform voluntarily on stage. In return, the festival offers them a stage worthy of the name, professional sound, sound and light engineers, i.e., quality technical conditions to showcase their talent.

An eclectic and regional program

From rock to French song, from contemporary music to modern sounds, Festimof offers a varied program each year that satisfies all tastes. The two evenings of the festival, organized at the village's multi-purpose hall and its outdoor surroundings, are an opportunity to discover the richness of the musical scene in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The family-friendly and convivial atmosphere on site, with a bar and catering of local products, makes it an event accessible to all audiences.

Constantly increasing attendance

Festimof has seen remarkable growth over the years. From 350 spectators in 2007, attendance rose to 1,900 visitors in 2023, then 2,500 in 2024 and 2,400 in 2025. In 2026, the festival celebrates its twenty years of existence, an anniversary that promises an exceptional edition. This growth reflects the festival's territorial roots and the loyalty of an audience that returns each year for Moffans' unique atmosphere.

An artisanal market and a festive atmosphere

Beyond the music, Festimof offers an artisanal market and local producers that enrich the festival-goers' experience. The bar and catering highlight products from the Franche-Comté region, contributing to the warm and authentic atmosphere that is the signature of this village event that has become grand.
