The festival of Afro and Caribbean music in Paris La Villette
Afrodom Festival is the new meeting place for Afro and Caribbean music in Paris. For its first edition in June 2025 at the Paris Event Center in La Villette, the festival brings together thirty international and national artists on two stages, celebrating afrobeats, afro pop, amapiano, dancehall, zouk, compas, hip-hop, reggae, and soca. Across 25,000 m², Afrodom Festival offers two days of pure musical energy, Afro-Caribbean culture, food trucks, a wellness area, and entertainment for everyone.
Afrodom Festival was born in 2025 with the ambition of creating a major gathering for Afro and Caribbean music in Paris, bringing together the musical genres that make Africa, the West Indies, and the diasporas vibrate: afrobeats, afro pop, amapiano, dancehall, shatta, zouk, gouyad, compas, hip-hop, soca, bouyon, and many others. Driven by the association Afrodom, the festival celebrates the richness and diversity of African and Caribbean cultures through music, dance, gastronomy, and sharing.
Afrodom Festival takes place at the Paris Event Center, at 20 avenue de la Porte de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement. This vast 25,000 m² event space, located at the gates of Parc de La Villette, offers an ideal setting for a large-scale urban festival. Two vibrant stages host the artists, while the outdoor areas offer food trucks and street food, a basketball court, a wellness area with massages, hairdressers, and barbers, as well as entertainment for all ages.
The first edition of Afrodom Festival will be held on June 28 and 29, 2025 at the Paris Event Center, from 4 PM to midnight each day. Thirty artists, international and national, are on the program, including the Jamaican dancehall and reggae legend Capleton, Nigerian afrobeats star Oxlade, Congolese artist Innoss'B, Dadju, a major figure in French R&B of Congolese origin, Guadeloupean Admiral T, king of West Indian dancehall, South African amapiano icon Kamo Mphela, Beenie Man, Singuila, T-Sia, Senyss, Kawest, and Libianca.
