Jazz, groove, and contemporary art in the courtyards and barns of Hermonville
Created in 2010 by a group of friends passionate about jazz and contemporary art, the Art et Jazz dans ma Cour festival is a biennial event that transforms the Champagne village of Hermonville into an open-air artistic trail. For two days, the village streets are closed to traffic and welcome over 6,500 festival-goers to wander between jazz concerts and contemporary art exhibitions set up in the courtyards, barns, and barns of the inhabitants. Supported by the Hermon'Style association and over 150 volunteers, the festival offers an eclectic program mixing jazz, groove, soul, and funk on four stages, accompanied by about forty visual artists—painters, sculptors, photographers, and street artists—exhibiting their works in residents' homes.
Since 2010, the Art et Jazz dans ma Cour festival has established itself as a must-see cultural event in the Grand Reims region. Nestled in the village of Hermonville, just 12 km from Reims, in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, this biennial event transforms the village center into a vast open-air art gallery and jazz stage. Born from the initiative of a simple group of friends—including Stéphane Keyser—sharing their passion for music and visual arts, the festival has grown over the editions to become a major event attracting over 6,500 festival-goers.
The originality of Art et Jazz dans ma Cour lies in its unique concept: the village streets are completely closed to traffic, and the town center becomes pedestrian for the weekend. Festival-goers wander freely through the streets to discover the works of about forty contemporary artists—painters, sculptors, photographers, and street artists—exhibited directly in the courtyards, barns, and barns of Hermonville residents. This proximity between artists, residents, and the public creates a friendly and warm atmosphere, conducive to exchange and discovery.
The musical aspect of the festival is equally rich. More than 20 groups and formations perform on four stages spread throughout the village:
The musical program mixes jazz, groove, soul, funk, swing, and world music, with national and international headliners. The 2024 edition notably featured Yuri Buenaventura, Vincent Peirani & Emile Parisien, and Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox. For 2026, Malted Milk and Paris Combo are announced as headliners.
The festival is organized by the Hermon'Style association, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the village of Hermonville through cultural, sporting, and leisure events. Over 150 volunteers mobilize for each edition to ensure the welcome, logistics, catering, and security of the festival. Loyal partners also support the event, contributing to its sustainability and growing influence in the Grand Est region.
The festival makes a point of offering varied and original catering, in line with the friendly spirit of the event. Food stalls and food trucks are spread along the route, allowing festival-goers to eat while enjoying concerts and exhibitions. The festive atmosphere continues until late in the evening on Saturday, with a headline concert as the highlight of the weekend.
8th edition of the Art et Jazz dans ma Cour festival, on June 13 and 14, 2026 in Hermonville. Malted Milk and Paris Combo headlining. Jazz, groove, and funk concerts on four stages, accompanied by contemporary art exhibitions in the village courtyards and barns.
The Art et Jazz dans ma Cour festival returns for its 8th edition on June 13 and 14, 2026 in Hermonville. Following the success of the 2024 edition, which attracted over 6,500 festival-goers, the festival promises a vibrant program combining jazz, groove, and contemporary art in the picturesque setting of the Champagne village's courtyards and barns.
The announced headliners are Malted Milk, a Nantes-based septet known for soul, blues, and funk, celebrated for their stage energy, and Paris Combo, a Parisian group blending jazz, chanson, and world music with a retro and quirky touch. Over 40 visual artists—painters, sculptors, photographers, and street artists—will exhibit their works in the courtyards and barns along the route. A tribute to singer Belle du Berry is also planned in the program.
The festival takes place in the center of Hermonville, a village located 12 km northwest of Reims, in the heart of the Champagne vineyards.
Concerts and exhibitions are spread throughout the streets, courtyards, barns, and barns of Hermonville's town center. Four musical stages are set up: Place du Montcet, La Grange aux couleurs, La Ferme, and L'Église.
The festival takes place over two days, Saturday and Sunday. Friday evening is reserved for patrons and volunteers. Concerts and exhibitions begin in the late morning and continue until late in the evening on Saturday.
