French Chanson in the Spotlight
Since 2011, the Courzik' Festival has been celebrating French-language musical creation. Every year, on the second weekend of March, the Courcy multi-purpose hall is transformed into a warm performance space to host artists from French chanson, Francophone pop rock, and world music. This original focus distinguishes the festival in the musical landscape of the Marne region.
A Family and Festive Spirit
Over the years, Courzik' has built a strong identity based on conviviality and sharing. More than a thousand spectators gather each year to discover talented bands, meet friends, and enjoy two days of concerts in a warm atmosphere. The commitment of about fifty local volunteers contributes to this unique ambiance.
Established Artists and New Discoveries
The Courzik' program mixes established artists from the Francophone scene with promising new discoveries. The festival has notably hosted Les Wriggles, Soviet Suprem, Johnny Montreuil, Monty Picon, Les Frères Lapoisse, and À la Bisaine. This artistic diversity appeals to a wide audience, from French chanson enthusiasts to those seeking new sounds.
Strong Local Roots
Supported by the Amicale Laïque Jean Mermoz of Courcy, Courzik' benefits from the support of the municipality of Courcy, the Departmental Council of the Marne, and the Regional Council of Grand Est. This institutional and associative anchoring ensures the sustainability of this festival, which actively participates in the cultural life of the Reims area.
