French Chanson in the Spotlight in the Troyes Urban Area

The Festival Bulles de Chanson was born from the joint desire of the town of Sainte-Savine, the town of Saint-André-les-Vergers, and the association Troyes Chante to create an event dedicated to French chanson in the Troyes urban area. Since its first edition in 2024, the festival has taken over several cultural venues in the area each year at the end of January: the Espace Gérard Philipe in Saint-André-les-Vergers, L'Art Déco in Sainte-Savine, and the Théâtre Le Quai in Troyes. This territorial network allows us to reach a wide audience and keep French chanson alive as close as possible to the residents.

Emerging Talents and Established Artists

The programming of the Festival Bulles de Chanson emphasizes discovery: each edition highlights emerging talents from the French chanson scene, alongside established artists who come to share their universe. The festival offers concerts, musical shows, and poetic moments that explore the richness of the genre, from chanson à texte to engaged chanson, from humor to poetry. In 2026, the program notably includes Roca et Wally with their show 150 kg à Deux and Les Reprieuses de l'Ouest with D'où Qu'On Vienne.

A Local and Sharing Festival

One of the strengths of Bulles de Chanson is its human dimension. The chosen venues — Espace Gérard Philipe and L'Art Déco — offer intimate capacities that foster proximity between artists and the audience. The concerts, usually scheduled at 8 PM, take place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, conducive to exchange and meeting. The association Troyes Chante, which animates the local French chanson scene throughout the year, brings its expertise and network to create quality programming.

A Growing Festival

With its 3rd edition in January 2026, the Festival Bulles de Chanson is already establishing itself as an anticipated event on the cultural scene of Aube. The partnership between two municipalities and a dynamic cultural association guarantees the sustainability and development of the event, which aims to become a springboard for emerging French chanson in the Grand Est region. The diversity of offerings — from musical one-man shows to collective concerts, from intimate duos to festive bands — ensures constant renewal of the programming and appeal for all chanson lovers.
