Nestled in the charming village of Lournand, five minutes from the abbey town of Cluny and twenty-five minutes from Mâcon, the Lournand Festival has established itself as the unmissable summer event of Clunisois. Since its creation in the early 2000s, this live performance festival has won over an ever-growing audience thanks to a demanding and festive program, in a breathtaking bucolic setting.

A popular festival with multiple talents

For six days and nights, the village square of Lournand and new venues within the Clunisois community of communes are transformed into an open-air stage. The festival unfolds a remarkable artistic palette: theater, humor, acrobatics, dance, mime, puppetry, songs, and concerts follow one another for the greatest delight of spectators of all ages. From children's shows programmed during the day to lively evening concerts, every moment is designed to bring generations together.

Driven by the association Un p'tit air de Festival and animated by a team of dedicated volunteers, it brings culture to rural areas with generosity. The artistic direction of J.M. Debarbat guarantees a selection of professional companies from all over France, mixing established artists and emerging talents in a festive village atmosphere.

The exceptional natural setting of southern Burgundy, between vineyards and green hills, adds a unique dimension to each performance. Spectators take advantage of the long summer evenings to discover various artistic forms, share a drink with the artists, and savor the sweet life of Burgundy.
