The Festival du Rire de Canet is an event dedicated to humor, stand-up, and comedy shows, created in 2025 by Claudia Modica, a multifaceted personality from Perpignan. A former high-level football player, who became a sports and mental coach, Claudia Modica has always made humor a guiding principle in her life and wanted to offer Canet-en-Roussillon its own laughter festival.

The festival offers evenings of laughter galas at the Théâtre Jean Piat, bringing together established comedians and emerging talents in shows combining stand-up, sketches, and one-man shows. The evenings begin with a friendly moment with light catering and entertainment, before the shows at 9 PM.
Top comedians
From its very first edition, the Festival du Rire de Canet has hosted renowned artists such as Denis Maréchal, a member of Jamel Comedy Club, and Laurent Arnoult, alongside the founder Claudia Modica. The festival aims to become a regular humor event on the Catalan coast.
