A Market Dedicated to Artisanal Creation

The Prades Christmas Market by Les Fabricréateurs stands out from traditional Christmas markets with its exclusive focus on craftsmanship and creation. Founded by artisan creators from Conflent, the Les Fabricréateurs association brings together about forty exhibitors every December on the Place de la République in Prades, offering a space for direct interaction between creators and visitors.

Original and Local Creations

The market stalls feature a wide variety of artisanal creations: jewelry, ceramics, turned wood objects, handmade textiles and clothing, leather goods, illustrations, photographs, natural soaps, scented candles, artisanal sweets, and chocolates. Each exhibitor offers unique pieces or small series, made in their workshops in the department or region.

A Magical Atmosphere at the Foot of the Canigou

The Place de la République in Prades, a small town in Conflent nestled at the foot of the Canigou massif, provides a warm setting for this Christmas market. Festive decorations, seasonal music, mulled wine, and treats create a festive atmosphere conducive to Christmas shopping. The Amicale Laïque de Prades also organizes its own Christmas market in late November with refreshments, a raffle, and a visit from Santa Claus.
