From late October 2026 to late March 2027, France's largest foie gras market returns to its winter hours and is in full swing every Monday morning under the Samatan market hall.
A Market Monday's Schedule
- From 8:30 AM — Open-air market (local products, fruits and vegetables, Gersois specialties) in the square.
- 9:30 AM — Carcass market opens: at the whistle, the hall opens its doors and the crowd gathers around the tables where duck and goose carcasses are displayed.
- 10:30 AM — Foie gras market: fresh duck and goose foie gras are put on sale. Products sell out very quickly, it's best to arrive early.
Direct Sales and Cutting Service
