Access

By car: Saverdun is about 20 kilometers north of Pamiers and 50 kilometers south of Toulouse via the D820 (formerly the N20).
By train: Saverdun station is served by TER regional trains on the Toulouse – Foix – Latour-de-Carol line.

Notes d'Automne is organized by the town of Saverdun, in the north of Ariège. The festival brings together a week of concerts, performances, dance, and music films across the town's cultural venues. It was held in November until 2023, then moved to late October for the 2024 and 2025 editions.
Concerts at the cultural center, the municipal hall, the church, and local cafés
The program is spread across the cultural center, the municipal hall, the church, Café Sofia, and the café Ô Phare. Recent editions have featured a mix of opera recitals, tango, jazz, Sahelian blues, contemporary dance, children's shows, organ concerts, and music film screenings at the municipal cinema. The Les Amis de l'Orgue de l'église de Saverdun association and the Micro-Folie digital museum also contribute to the programming.
From the 9th to the 11th edition
The 9th edition took place from November 18 to 26, 2023, featuring Omar Hasan's Café Tango Trio at the cultural center and an organ and trumpet concert based on La Fontaine's fables at the church. The 10th edition was held from October 25 to 31, 2024, showcasing the dance performance Mare Nostrum by the Saverdun-based company Variation 612, and the M'Buru duo featuring Jean-Paul Raffit and Paamath. The 11th edition, from October 18 to 25, 2025, included around ten concerts, such as Joseph et le Pharaon on the organ on October 19 and the children's show Citron on October 22, produced in collaboration with Manouch'Festival and MIMA.
A free or low-cost festival
In 2024, some shows were free or offered on a pay-what-you-want basis, while others cost €12 or €8 at a reduced rate, with films priced at the municipal cinema's standard rate. For the 11th edition, the mayor issued a decision on October 7, 2025, making all city-organized performances free of charge, with the cost of the services estimated at €4,000.
