2026 Edition – October 16, 17, and 18
Vignobles en Scène ! returns to the Gaillac vineyards for its second edition from October 16th to 18th, 2026, organized by the La Toscane Occitane Tourist Office in partnership with Vins de Gaillac.
The Sunday Traveling Banquet takes participants along the "Le Vallon de la Caude" Oenorando trail in Cestayrols: a roughly 7 km route through hills and valleys, with four gourmet stops around Château Lacroux and Château Les Vignals, where two winemakers will greet walkers at each stop. The route remains accessible via marked trails, with staggered departures of 75 to 100 people. It is suitable for children aged 8-10 and up, and dogs on leashes are welcome (excluding category 1 and 2 breeds). In case of rain, marquees will be set up at each stop, and the event will proceed as planned.
Two musical performances are scheduled along the banquet route; the rest of the weekend's program (tastings, workshops, bike rides, concerts) will be announced in the autumn of 2026 on the La Toscane Occitane and Vins de Gaillac websites.

Vignobles en Scène !: When the Gaillac Vineyards Become a Stage
Every third weekend of October, the Gaillac vineyards become the setting for a unique event: Vignobles en Scène !, the national oenotourism gathering. Supported by the Vignobles & Découvertes network—a national label certifying wine tourism destinations offering an excellent tourist experience—this event brings together regional stakeholders in Occitanie around a common vision: celebrating wine, gastronomy, and local cultures in the very landscapes that shaped them.
A National Event Rooted in the Gaillac Terroir
Vignobles en Scène ! is an event organized simultaneously in all French wine regions with the Vignobles & Découvertes label. However, in Gaillac, it takes on a special dimension thanks to the richness of one of France's oldest vineyards—with the first traces of viticulture dating back to antiquity—and the diversity of its indigenous grape varieties: Mauzac, Loin de l'Œil, Len de l'El, Duras, Braucol, Prunelart.
The Gaillac edition is organized around three experience hubs defined by the national label:
- Tasting Experiences: tastings, food and wine pairings, evenings at the winemakers', brunches in the vineyards
- Immersive Experiences: electric bike rides, sensory workshops, participatory grape harvests for children
- Creative Experiences: concerts, exhibitions, and cultural events centered around wine
La Ronde des Vignerons: The 7 km Traveling Banquet
The beating heart of Vignobles en Scène ! in Gaillac is undoubtedly La Ronde des Vignerons, the 7-kilometer Oenorando® gourmet walk that winds through the vineyards and estates of the appellation. Accessible on the Sunday of the event, this walking route combines hiking, gastronomy, wine, and music into a memorable and convivial experience.
The Four Stages of the Route
La Ronde des Vignerons is structured around four festive stops at labeled wine estates, each offering a specific food and wine pairing with musical entertainment:
- Domaine du Moulin — Sparkling aperitif featuring the Gaillac ancestral method
- Domaine Barreau — Appetizer featuring local trout, paired with a dry Gaillac white
- Domaine Laubarel — Countryside banquet with spit-roasted pork and Gaillac red
- Mas des Combes — Dessert and sweet Gaillac natural wine
The route concludes at the Cave Coopérative de Saint-Michel in Gaillac, which serves as the starting and ending point (departure at 11 am). At each stop, musicians entertain to extend the pleasure of food and encounters.
A Full Weekend of Wine Tourism
Beyond La Ronde des Vignerons, the entire Vignobles en Scène ! weekend offers a rich program spread across the appellation's estates: themed tastings, convivial evenings in the cellars, autumn-colored bike rides through the vineyards, sensory workshops to decipher the aromas and flavors of Gaillac, acoustic concerts, and gastronomic events with local chefs.
An Event That Showcases the Occitan Tuscany
In just a few years, Vignobles en Scène ! has become one of the flagship autumn events in Occitan Tuscany, the tourist region encompassing Gaillac and its vineyards. It attracts visitors annually from all over Occitanie and neighboring regions, contributing to the development of high-quality wine tourism that respects the terroir and local expertise.
