About Musique en Vignes in the Frontonnais
Since 2002, the Musique en Vignes festival has brought the Fronton appellation to life. Classical, scholarly, and jazz music concerts are held in the churches, châteaux, and vineyards of the Frontonnais and the Grand Sud Tarn-et-Garonne, each followed by a tasting of AOP Fronton wines. Organized by the FFFP association, the festival features a year-round program, ranging from summer concerts to year-end celebrations. The festival has held the Vignoble et Découvertes label since 2018.
Musique en Vignes in the Frontonnais — edition 2026
The 2026 edition marks the festival's 25th anniversary, featuring six concerts held from June to December across Fronton, Villebrumier, and Labastide-Saint-Pierre. A chamber orchestra composed of conservatory professors from Occitanie kicks off the festivities with concertos by Haydn, Mozart, Chopin, and Bach, followed by a special anniversary evening featuring eighty musicians. Each concert concludes with a tasting of wines from the Fronton appellation.
