This free-entry day offers an immersion into the flavors of the Occitan terroir and the new cuisines of the Southwest, to the rhythm of encounters with local producers. This gastronomic dimension reflects the global and festive vision that drives the organizers.
The Open Air as a Space of Freedom
The open-air format chosen by L'Échappée Musicale is fully embraced: to enjoy the mild September nights in the Southwest to offer concerts in a friendly setting. A 300 m² marquee capable of accommodating 700 people provides shelter for the public in case of bad weather, guaranteeing the event's continuation regardless of the forecast.

L'Échappée Musicale returns to Montbartier (82) on September 18 and 19, 2026 for its 8th edition. Two evenings of contemporary music outdoors, mixing national headliners (Passi, Sinik, Lucenzo, Collectif Métissé) and emerging artists, in a friendly and human-scale atmosphere. The event is preceded on September 17 by L'Échappée Gourmande, a free gastronomic day.

Organized by the association Les Porteurs de Son, the 8th edition of L'Échappée Musicale takes place on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19, 2026 in the car park of the village hall in Montbartier (82700), in Tarn-et-Garonne. Doors open at 6 PM each evening.
True to its identity, the festival offers an eclectic program of contemporary music, bringing together recognized national artists and rising acts, in a friendly outdoor setting. A 300 m² marquee, capable of accommodating 700 people, shelters the public in case of bad weather. The event is cashless: payment by tokens at food stalls, credit card accepted at the refreshment stand.
