Rock, song and contemporary music festival on Place du Champ de Mars in Saverdun
Les Voix Sonneuses is a contemporary music festival held every early July on the Place du Champ de Mars in Saverdun, Ariège. Created in 2019, this human-sized festival offers two days of open-air concerts mixing rock, French chanson, ska, punk, and world music. Driven by the association Les Voix Sonneuses, the event has quickly found its audience thanks to an ambitious program bringing together national headliners and emerging bands from a musical competition, in a festive and friendly atmosphere in the heart of the Pyrenean foothills.
Les Voix Sonneuses is a contemporary music festival born in 2019 in Saverdun, a small town in northern Ariège. Held every summer on the Place du Champ de Mars, this musical event offers two days of open-air concerts featuring artists from rock, French chanson, ska, punk, and world music. The association Les Voix Sonneuses, behind the project, has in just a few editions established its festival as one of the major musical events of the Ariège summer.
Despite its human-sized format, Les Voix Sonneuses presents a quality program each year that is second to none. The 6th edition in 2024 hosted Négresses Vertes, Les Sheriff, Sergent Garcia, Le Peuple de l'Herbe, and 7 Weeks. The 7th edition in 2025 featured Garçons Bouchers, Burning Heads, No One Is Innocent, The Locos (members of Ska-P), Amy Winehouse Band, Elmer Food Beat, and Inspector Cluzo. The festival also includes a musical competition allowing young bands to perform on the main stage.
The 2026 edition, to be held on July 3rd and 4th, promises to be exceptional with a lineup featuring La Rue Kétanou and Les Ogres de Barback, JoeyStarr, Ludwig von 88, Les Croquants, Goulamas'K, Cartoon Machine, Picon mon Amour, Les P'tits Fils de Jeanine, Groumpf, and Drum.D. This eclectic program illustrates the festival's desire to cross generations and musical styles, from punk rock to rap to festive chanson.
Beyond the concerts, Les Voix Sonneuses cultivates a spirit of conviviality that makes it unique. The Place du Champ de Mars site, in the heart of Saverdun, offers a pleasant setting to enjoy music in the open air. Street performances complement the musical program, and a camping area is available for festival-goers. Admission is free for children under 15, and ticketing is managed through the HelloAsso platform.
