The most beautiful magic festival in France, in Pamiers in Ariège
Since 2017, the festival Les Stars de la Magie has made Pamiers the French capital of illusionism. Under the impetus of its founder Nicolas Del Pozo and the association Pamiers Magique, this family festival brings together the best international magicians every autumn for an exceptional show at the Salle du Jeu du Mail. Recognized as "the most beautiful magic festival in France", the event attracts spectators from all over the Occitanie region and beyond.
Each edition offers a show of approximately 1h50 (with a 20-minute intermission) featuring about ten international magicians carefully selected for their exceptional talent. Each artist brings a unique universe inspired by tales and legends, blending sleight of hand, grand illusions, mentalism, and visual arts. Among the artists who have performed: European and French magic champions, artists from Lapin Blanc, and world-renowned illusionists.
The festival unfolds over a three-day weekend with six performances: Friday at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This format allows for a maximum number of spectators, from families with children to magic enthusiasts. The intimate atmosphere of the Salle du Jeu du Mail creates a closeness with the artists that enhances the wonder and magic of the acts.
Beyond the festival, the association Pamiers Magique has created a true ecosystem around magic in Pamiers. The Magic Museum, open all year round, offers a collection of objects, posters, and accessories retracing the history of illusionism. Introductory workshops and one-off shows complete this offering throughout the year, making Pamiers a must-visit destination for lovers of magic and wonder.
