About Emmenez-moi
Emmenez-moi — edition 2026
The 8th edition of the heritage festival « Emmenez-moi… » takes place over two weekends in July 2026, discovering two remarkable heritage sites in Seine-et-Marne. As every year, the Department's itinerant event is entirely free and offers live shows, entertainment, walks, and games in places of character.
Two weekends, two châteaux for the 2026 edition
For its 8th edition, the « Emmenez-moi… » festival will take over two communes in Seine-et-Marne over two successive weekends in July 2026:
- July 4th and 5th, 2026 — Château royal de Montceaux-lès-Meaux: a former major site of royal power during the Renaissance, the château and its park (classified as Historic Monuments in 2005) today only retain imposing ruins at the heart of a vast park. The festival notably offers guided tours of the estate and an outdoor game-trail.
- July 10th and 11th, 2026 — Château de Paley: at the heart of the Lunain valley, the village of Paley travels back in time. The château gardens host a wandering and family show centered around the three musketeers, as well as a swashbuckling show combining heritage and adventure.
All programming is free and faithful to the spirit of the festival: to highlight the richness and diversity of Seine-et-Marne's heritage through live performance, music, workshops, and walks.

Festival Emmenez-moi: Discovering the Heritage of Seine-et-Marne
Created in 2018 by the Department of Seine-et-Marne, the "Emmenez-moi" festival is an invitation to rediscover local heritage from a new perspective. Each edition takes over different towns in the department, transforming heritage sites—often little-known to the general public—into ephemeral stages for live performances, artistic installations, and festive gatherings.
An Itinerant Festival Revealing Hidden Treasures
The great originality of Emmenez-moi lies in its itinerant nature. From one year to the next, the festival explores new territories within the department, showcasing remarkable heritage sites: ruined castles, former industrial sites repurposed, picturesque villages with preserved architecture, forgotten medieval sites. This approach highlights the exceptional diversity and richness of Seine-et-Marne's heritage, the largest department in Île-de-France by area and variety of landscapes.
A Multidisciplinary and Free Program
The festival offers a rich program accessible to all: open-air live performances—theater, dance, circus, music—concerts in unexpected locations, participatory workshops for families, guided walks to discover local heritage, conferences, and open-air cinema screenings. The entire program is free, reflecting the Department's commitment to making culture and heritage accessible to the widest possible audience.
The 7th Edition: A Wonderful Weekend
The 7th edition of the festival, in June 2025, took place in the towns of Condé-Sainte-Libiaire, Coupvray, and Treuzy-Levelay. A new feature for 2025: the "Emmenez-moi" label now distinguishes one-off events that promote heritage throughout the year, extending the festival's spirit far beyond the single weekend in June.
Strong Territorial Roots
Emmenez-moi is part of the cultural and heritage policy of the Department of Seine-et-Marne, in collaboration with the host towns, tourist offices, and local associations. The festival helps to promote the 800 historical monuments and countless heritage sites in the department, while also revitalizing rural and peri-urban areas through a festive and unifying event.
