Hit The Road is a unique eco-cultural festival that takes place every year in late May in Saint-Florent-sur-Cher. Organized by the association Stop&Go, this self-organized festival stands out for its original ecological approach: festival-goers are encouraged to come by hitchhiking, thus reducing the event's carbon footprint, as transport is the primary source of emissions in the cultural sector.
The 2025 edition marked the 9th edition of this festive and committed event, which takes place over three days (May 30-31 and June 1). The festival offers a rich and varied program:
- Concerts of current music with emerging and established artists (Marius Beck, Lyaa, Juste Shani, Bazarr, Demain les Garçons...)
- DJ sets to extend the party into the evening
- Drag talk shows and artistic performances
- Participatory workshops: embroidery, circus, yoga
- Food and drink: vegan meals and local organic beers
Hit The Road cultivates a friendly and alternative atmosphere, combining music, performing arts, creativity, and ecological commitment. The festival creates a space for meeting and sharing where culture is combined with the values of solidarity and respect for the environment.
With its accessible prices and eclectic program, Hit The Road appeals to all audiences, from fans of current music to families looking for a festive and responsible event.
