The La 5e Saison Festival is an open-air live performance festival organized by Niort Agglo every June. Created in 2020, it offers circus, dance, theater, music, and street arts performances throughout the month in 21 towns in the Niortais agglomeration. Free and open to all, it brings together about sixty artists and thousands of spectators around multidisciplinary artistic proposals.

When live performance takes over the territory
Since 2020, the La 5e Saison Festival has brought together the inhabitants of the Niortais agglomeration around open-air live performance throughout June. Supported by Niort Agglo, this itinerant and free festival offers performances of circus, dance, street theater, music, clown, and puppetry in 21 towns in the territory.
A local festival
The uniqueness of La 5e Saison lies in its territorial dimension. Rather than concentrating performances in a single location, the festival spreads across the towns of the agglomeration, from village squares to natural spaces. Each town hosts one or more performances, creating an artistic trail that invites spectators to discover their territory from a new perspective.
A multidisciplinary program
Each edition features about twenty performances by sixty artists from professional companies. Talent is expressed in all the diversity of street arts: circus acrobatics, open-air choreography, street theater, itinerant concerts, puppet shows, clown performances. The program mixes all-ages offerings with more intimate creations.
A free and unifying event
Access to all performances is completely free, by reservation. This accessibility policy makes La 5e Saison a truly unifying event, bringing together audiences of all ages and backgrounds in a spirit of conviviality and sharing.
