The spring of emerging music in Niort
The Festival Nouvelle(s) Scène(s) is the unmissable event for emerging music in Niort. Every March since 2010, this festival has taken over the city's venues and atypical spaces for a week of musical discoveries. Free and paid concerts showcase the artists of tomorrow in a committed, uninhibited, and colorful program that awakens the Niort spring.
Since 2010, the Festival Nouvelle(s) Scène(s) has established itself as the major event for emerging music in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Supported by the eponymous association, this spring festival transforms Niort into a true musical laboratory where confirmed artists from the independent scene and emerging talents meet.
The strength of Nouvelle(s) Scène(s) lies in its ability to discover the artists of tomorrow. Rock, electro, hip-hop, folk, French chanson, experimental pop: the program crosses genres with audacity and coherence. Each edition affirms committed, uninhibited, and colorful artistic choices, offering a showcase for emerging aesthetics that will shape the musical landscape of tomorrow.
The festival takes over Niort's emblematic cultural venues: the Moulin du Roc (national stage), the Camji (contemporary music venue), the Villa Pérochon, Le Hangar, the Halles de Niort, and other atypical spaces. This dispersion throughout the city creates a journey of discovery that invites festival-goers to explore Niort in a new way.
True to its spirit of discovery and sharing, the festival offers the majority of its concerts for free, subject to venue capacity. This generous pricing policy allows all audiences to discover new musical aesthetics in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
