About At the Auberge de la Grand'Route
Every November, À l'Auberge de la Grand'Route brings the residents of the Vallées du Clain together for a celebration of theatre, circus, music, and visual arts. The L'Arantelle association, supported by its dedicated team of volunteers, Les Fêt'Arts, hosts a programme featuring professional companies alongside local amateur troupes from the Vienne region, offering something for all ages. Events take place at La Passerelle in Nouaillé-Maupertuis and in neighbouring venues in Roches-Prémarie-Andillé, Smarves, and La Villedieu du Clain.

The 35th edition of À l'Auberge de la Grand'Route kicks off with a vibrant Innkeeper's Evening on November 14, 2026, at La Passerelle in Nouaillé-Maupertuis. The event features a cabaret performance based on the opera Carmen, followed by the musical duo Les Polis Sont Acoustiques, with a homemade tasting served during the intermission.

- 7:00 PM — À peu près Carmen · La Passerelle, Nouaillé-Maupertuis — A comedic and interactive cabaret celebrating the 150th anniversary of the opera Carmen, 50 minutes, suitable for ages 6 and up, includes an intermission with a tasting
- 7:00 PM — Les Polis Sont Acoustiques, "Ça va !" · La Passerelle, Nouaillé-Maupertuis — musical performance, for all audiences, 1 hour 30 minutes
The remainder of the 35th edition's program has not yet been released by L'Arantelle.
