About Invisibles-Invincibles
Every year in La Rochelle, Invisibles-Invincibles brings together local artists—spanning theater, dance, photography, slam poetry, and music—to shine a light on violence against women and the social invisibility they face. The festival was founded in 2024 by the Juste Avant la Nuit company, alongside Julia Douny-Guyot and Héloïse Martin, by pooling resources from several regional troupes, including O Tom Po Tom. The event takes place in November at the Espace Bernard Giraudeau, coinciding with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Invisibles-Invincibles — edition 2026
The second edition of Invisibles-Invincibles takes place from November 23 to 29, 2026, at the Espace Bernard Giraudeau in the Mireuil district of La Rochelle, centered around November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The program features theater, a cappella music, cinema, conferences, and photography exhibitions, with events held in other priority neighborhoods and across the metropolitan area.
