About Invisibles-Invincibles

Every year in La Rochelle, Invisibles-Invincibles brings together local artists—spanning theater, dance, photography, slam poetry, and music—to shine a light on violence against women and the social invisibility they face. The festival was founded in 2024 by the Juste Avant la Nuit company, alongside Julia Douny-Guyot and Héloïse Martin, by pooling resources from several regional troupes, including O Tom Po Tom. The event takes place in November at the Espace Bernard Giraudeau, coinciding with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Invisibles-Invincibles — edition 2026

The festival returns for its second edition, brought to you by the Juste Avant la Nuit and O Tom Po Tom companies, featuring artists from La Rochelle, Saintes, and Poitiers. It will be held at the Espace Bernard Giraudeau, two years after the inaugural event that brought together theatre, dance, photography, and open-mic sessions to explore the same themes.

The programme is currently being finalised by the organisers; it will feature theatre, dance, photography, slam poetry, and open-mic sessions, much like the first edition.
